A Warm, Nurturing Environment
To provide a safe, positive and caring environment where children feel secure and valued.

Where Montessori is taught with depth, not as a label.
For over twenty years, these principles continue to shape everything we do.
To provide a safe, positive and caring environment where children feel secure and valued.
To foster respect, kindness, and cooperation among children and adults.
To nurture curiosity and a love for learning, while preparing children for future challenges.
To support the natural curiosity and creativity within every child.
We strive to provide quality education and a positive learning environment to help children grow into confident and independent individuals with hearts of kindness and compassion.
Gloria founded Little Sparks Montessori in 2006 with a simple yet profound vision: to create a nurturing space where children could grow with joy, independence, and confidence. What began as a leap of faith has blossomed into a trusted preschool community, shaped by her belief that every child deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
Her journey into education was inspired by motherhood and deepened through years of volunteering and teaching in international Montessori schools abroad. Captivated by the respect and care inherent in the Montessori approach, Gloria earned her diploma and dedicated herself to bringing that same integrity and warmth to Singapore.
At Little Sparks, she continues to be actively present in the classrooms—guiding teachers, engaging with children, and ensuring that Montessori is practised with authenticity. For Gloria, the school is more than a place of learning; it is a home where families connect, friendships flourish, and children are celebrated for who they are.
Over the past two decades, she has built Little Sparks on trust, love, and community. Many of the school’s teachers have journeyed alongside her for years, forming the backbone of its family-like environment. Hundreds of children have passed through its doors, many returning as young adults or lifelong friends—a testament to the lasting bonds nurtured here.
Gloria’s mission has always been about more than education. It is about giving back, fostering resilience, and creating a space where laughter, learning, and love are at the heart of every day.
Founder & Director
“I started this school because of my love for children and my wish to give them a childhood filled with joy, laughter, learning, and strong values. Twenty years later, seeing generations of children grow and flourish continues to be my greatest reward.” — Gloria, Founder & Director
Twenty years on, LittleSparks is still rooted in Siglap — and still family-run.
Gloria opens a single classroom at Bowmont Centre, Siglap — no grand plan, just a belief that every child deserves to be seen.
A sister branch opens in Pune, India — carrying LittleSparks beyond Singapore for the first time.
LittleSparks Kembangan opens in Singapore, bringing authentic Montessori closer to more families.
LittleSparks grows to four units in Siglap — deepening our roots at home.
20 years on. Our anniversary giving goes to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
The belief that started it all still guides us today — every child deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
Twenty years on, these are the principles we still live by — the ones that turn a preschool into a place children genuinely love to be.
Children learn through understanding, not memorisation — building strong foundations that last a lifetime.
Curiosity is encouraged. Children observe, question, and discover — making learning meaningful.
Children engage with hands-on materials that build real concepts and skills for life.
Every child is valued and supported, regardless of their ability, pace or background.
Strong communication and collaboration with parents ensure the best support for each child.
Every child is respected as an individual — their voice, effort, and growth matter.
